  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place oysters directly on the grill grates and cook until shells pop open on their own.
  • While oysters are cooking, prep all ingredients.
  • Once shells are popped, carefully pry the top shell off and loosen oyster from the bottom shell.
  • Add a spoonful of cocktail sauce, a sprinkle of green onion, and scoop of bacon bits to each oyster. Top oysters generously with cheddar cheese.
  • Close the grill lid and cook just until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve oysters in the shell while still hot.

    Note: Oysters will be very hot coming off of the grill. Exercise caution.
